Denying the Claim of Ja’far al- Kadhab

From one of Abbasid Caliph’s soldiers, Muḥammad b. YaÊ¿qÅ«b al-KulaynÄ« has narrated that, ‘[Once] after His Excellency ImÄm AskarÄ« (PBUH)’s martyrdom, I was with NasÄ«m, the Caliph’s servant. He came to Samarra and broke down the door of His Excellency’s house. There, His Majesty Sahib Al-Amr (mgehr) came out from the house, holding a saddle ax, and stated to NasÄ«m, ‘What are you doing in my house?  NasÄ«m trembled and said, ‘Ja’far al Kadhab said that there is no son left from your father. Now if it is your house, then we will go back, and we left the house.

The narrator Alī ibn Quays, said that ‘[Once] one of the servants of His Majesty’s house came out and I asked him, ‘Is the story that person narrated true?’ he wondered, ‘Who told you about that?’ I returned, ‘One of the Caliph’s soldiers’. Then he said, ‘Nothing remains hidden in the world’.
