On the eve of Ramadan 17th, Prophet [Mu岣mmad] (pbuh&h) went to the Mi士r膩j. The next morning, Satan came to his present and said:
O, the Messenger of God (pbuh&h)! The last night when you went to the Mi士r膩j, in the fourth heaven, there was a broken and burnt pulpit on the left side (Baitul Ma鈥檓ur) that fell inverted. Did you know that pulpit, and did you find out whose it was?
Prophet (pbuh&h) asked, 鈥淲hose was it?鈥
Satan said:
It was mine. It was my pulpit! I used to sit on top of it and angels sat around my pulpit. I used to tell them about the ways of worshiping God. Angels were astonished at my worship and servitude. Whenever I dropped my misbaha, several thousand angels got up, kissed the misbaha, and passed it to me! 鈥淚 believed that God has not created better than me鈥, but once I saw that it was the other way around.
[Now, Do I consider myself better than others?! Worshiping is not to consider ourselves superior to others!]
