And his face looks like his majesty’s. Referring to narrations, his Excellency’s face is a mix of fair skin with a rosy and swarthy complexion. [Yet,] it has turned pale for being awake at nights [to perform night prayer]. And his soft forehead is wide, fair, and bright.
Also, his eyebrows are joined. His blessed nose is narrow and long, with a curvature in the middle, and he is good looking.
The light of his face is so bright that, it has prevailed the blackness of his blessed beard and his holy face. His blessed face has a little fat. Also, there is a “face spot” on his right cheek; as if it was a shining star.
There is a gap between his teeth. His eyes are black and they looked as if, he wore kohl around his eyes. Moreover, there is a sign on his head. He has also broad shoulders, and his belly and calf are similar to his grandfather, ʾAmīr al-Muʾminīn (pbuh).
And it has been narrated that, “The Excellency Mahdī (mgehr) is like a peacock among dweller of heaven. “His face is as bright as the moon.
His blessed body has been covered with light. He is dressed in holy apparel of consecutive divine light, the radios of its light is as great as the grace and the merit of The Unique God. In terms of softness and color, it is like a chamomile flower and a Judas-tree which have the settled dew on, the intensity of its redness has been diminished by air.
He is as tall as a burdock branch or a basil stalk.
لَیْسَ بِالطَّويلِ الشّامِخ وَ لا بِالْقَصیر الْلازِقِ
He is neither tall nor very short.
بَلْ مَرْبُوعُ اَلْقامَةِ مُدَوَّرُ الْھامَةِ
Rather, his stature is moderate and his blessed head is round
عَلى خَدِّهِ الاَيْمَنِ خالٌ كَاَنَّهُ فَتاةُ مِسْكٍ عَلى رَضْراضَةِ عَنْبَرٍ
On his right cheek, there is a face spot; as if It was a tiny black dot, cast on the ground with amber scent.
لَهُ سَمْتٌ ماراتِ الْعُیُونُ اَقْصَدَ
He had a such good physique that no eye had ever seen that moderation and fitness.
صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَیْهِ وَ عَلى آباءِ الطّاھِرينَ
May God’s prayers be upon him and upon his pure ancestors
