Who will be the father of that child?

She replied, ‘I don’t want Ashrafi! I want the [everlasting] honor.’ His Excellency stated, ‘[If so], I want to give you the glad tiding to an offspring who will become the lord of the west and the east. He will fill the world with justice and righteous; after it is filled with oppression and injustice.

She asked, ‘Who will be the father of that child?’ His Excellency stated, ‘The one whom, the Messenger of God [Prophet Muḥammad (pbuh&h)] proposed to you for’. Then his Excellency asked her, ‘Tell me, who was the one whom Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and his successor got you to marry?”

She replied, ‘He was your son “ImÄm Haá¹£an ËŠAskarÄ« (pbuh)â€â€™  [Then] his Excellency asked, ‘Do you know him?’

She reacted, ‘Since the night I have become Muslim by the best ladies [Sayyidat NisÄ’ FatimÄ (pbuh)], his Excellency has been coming to visit me [in my dreams] all the nights, without exception.

So, his majesty called his servant, KafÅ«r and ordered him, ‘Go and bring my sister, HakÄ«meh KhÄtÅ«n here.’

When HakÄ«meh came in, the Excellency stated, ‘She is the bondwoman, I told you about.’ [At that moment], HakÄ«meh KhÄtÅ«n became happy, embraced her and caressed her a lot.

Then his majesty stated, ‘O’, [grand] daughter of The Messenger of God (pbuh&h)! Take her to your home and teach her duties and sunnah1; since, she is Hassan ËŠAskarÄ« (pbuh)’s wife, as well as ImÄm ZamÄn (mgehr)’s mother.

Based on reliable documents, KolÄ«nÄ«, Ibn BÄbawayh, Shaykh TÅ«sÄ«, Sayyid Murtaá¸Ä and other great traditionists narrated from HakÄ«meh KhÄtÅ«n, that she said:

One day His Excellency, ImÄm Haá¹£an AskarÄ« (pbuh) came to my house and took a sharp at Narjis KhÄtÅ«n.

There, I asked, ‘If you are asking for her, I will send her to you.’

He replied, ‘O, aunt! My sharp look was of wonder! It is because The Almighty God will grant an honorable child to her who will fill the world with justice and righteous after it is filled with oppression and injustice.

I asked, ‘Should I send her to you?’ [He] stated, ‘To do so, ask my honorable father for permission.’

HakÄ«meh KhÄtÅ«n kept on:

I wore my clothes and went to my brother, ImÄm Ê¿AlÄ« al- NaqÄ« (PBUH)’s house. After I said hello and sat down, The Excellency initiated speaking before I said a word.

He stated, ‘O, Hakīmeh! Send Narjis to my son.’

There I said, ‘O, my Sayyid! I have come to you, in order to ask for the very permission!’

[He] stated, ‘O, the honorable blesser! God wants you to share such grace. God has given you a great deal of goodness and prosperity, that has considered you as such a mediator.’
