The proof of the blessed existence of the twelfth Imam

Section three: The proof of the blessed existence of the twelfth ImÄm, The Excellency Ḥujjat (mgehr), and his [Major] Occultation.

And there, we confine this subject to what AllÄmeh MajlesÄ« (mgbh) mentioned in his book ‘Haqq al-YaqÄ«n’. For detailed information, refer to the book ‘Najm thÄqib’, etc.

He stated:

Know that the AḥÄdÄ«th about MahdÄ« (mgehr)’s emergence has been narrated by the Shia and Sunni, inconsequent ways. In this regard, in JÄme al-OsÅ«l by á¹¢aḥīḥ al-BukhÄrÄ«,  it was narrated from Muslim an-NaysÄbÅ«rÄ«, AbÅ« DÄ’ūd, TirmidhÄ«, and Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of God (pbuh&h) stated:

By God who owns my soul by his power, Mary’s son (PBUH) is very soon to emerge. He is a just ruler who will break the Christian cross, kill the pigs and repeal the tribute.

It means, His Excellency will not confirm anything except IslÄm. There, wealth will be abounded. In a way that, one will not accept it if they are offered.

Then he kept on, the Messenger of God (pbuh&h) stated, “How will you feel, when Mary’s son (pbuh) emerges among you, and you have your [of your religion] ImÄm who is MahdÄ« (mgehr)?â€

And in á¹¢aḥīḥ al-Muslim, it was quoted from JÄbir that the Messenger of God (pbuh&h) stated:

“A tribe of my Ummah will always fight for The Right. Yes, they will be victorious till the Day of Judgment.†And then he kept on,

“Maryam’s son, Jesus [pbuh] will emerge [too]. There, the ruler [ImÄm ZamÄn (mgehr)] will go forward and state, ‘[Please] come and we will pray with us!’ But he will reply, ‘No, you are the ruler! [I will pray behind you]. Yes, God has honored your Ummah.â€

In addition, in “Musnad†by Abu DÄwÅ«d1 and the book by TirmidhÄ«2, it was narrated from Ibn Mas’ud3 as:

The Messenger of God (pbuh&h) stated, ‘If there is no time left in the world but one day, The Almighty God will verily lengthen that day so that, he raises the man of my Ummah or Ahl al Bayt [pbu th]. His name is the same as mine, and he will fill the earth with justice; while it will have been full of oppression and tyranny.

Based on another narration [he stated], “The world won’t end, till a man of my Ahl al Bayt [pbu th] whose name is the same as mine, will become the Arab king.

Moreover, they narrated from Abu Hurairah4 as, “If there is no time left in the world but one day, God will lengthen it, till a man of my Ahl al Bayt [pbu th] whose name is the same as mine, will become the Arab king.â€

Also in the book “Sunan†by Abu DhÄr, it was narrated from [ImÄm] Ê»Ali (pbuh) that His Majesty the messenger of God (pbuh&h) stated, ‘If the time will be over and the world will end except one day, God will verily raise a man of my Ahl al Bayt [pbu th] who will fill the earth with justice; while it has been full of tyranny and oppression…
