Imam HÄdÄ« (pbuh) stated:
In The Major Occultation Era of our QĒim [Imam Mahdī (mgehr)], if there weren’t scholars, the erudite
who invited the people to him [Imam Mahdī (mgehr)], defended the religion, and saved the frustrated servants of God from the traps of  Satan and enemies,
No one [believers] would have lived, unless they has given up and turned away from the religion of God!
Scholars and the erudite, are those who warm the hearts of the suppressed and the Shi’a dispossessed.
As helmsman holds the ship’s rudder in any direction he wants.
They are the superior and virtuous, to God.
