Salman Farsi and his wonderful enthusiasm to Imam Mahdi (hgr)’s emergence

Salman Farsi1 [the Persian] and his wonderful enthusiasm to Imam Mahdi (hgr)’s emergence

Once the holy Prophet [Muhammad (pbuh&h)] spoke to Salman about Imam Mahdi (hgr) and his benevolent government

And Salman begged the Prophet (pbuh&) to ask God for Salman to be in Imam Mahdi (hgr)’s Emergence era.

And the Prophet (pbuh&) replied, “You and the people like you meet his majesty.”

When he heard it, Salman thanked God a lot.

But he asked with concern

“Will I be alive then?”

Then the Messenger of God [Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&h)] referred to the Qur’an as “to revive and Raja’t2 at the time of the Emergence.”

So, it was easy for Salman to wait for meeting the majesty (hgr).

When he heard the Prophet (pbuh&)’s promise, Salman’s cry and eagerness intensified and said to the majesty,

“Do you promise me?”

The Prophet (pbuh&) stated, “Yes, I do”

Salman continued, “I got up from the Messenger of God, and when the death comes to me wasn’t important any more for me.”

By the way, how is Imam Mahdi (hgr)’s benevolent government that made Salman such a madman to attend then?

1-     Salman was a companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and the first Persian who converted to Islam.

2-     Raja’t is when, after the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) and on the threshold of Resurrection, a group of the sincere mu’mineen and a group of the immensely wicked disbelievers and rebellious individuals shall return to this world. The first group shall subsequently advance several ranks towards perfection whilst the second group would taste a severe chastisement.
