There are similarities between Imﾄ［ Mahdﾄｫ (mGehr) and Imﾄ［ Husayn (pbuh), and also between the Emergence and Ashurﾄ:
1-ﾂﾂﾂ Based on many narrations, the Emergence day and the anniversary of Ashurﾄ will be at the same time. For example, Imﾄ［ 盪｢ﾄ‥iq (pbuh) stated:
ﾘｧﾙ拙ﾙ ﾘｧﾙﾙぺｧﾘｦﾙ拙ﾙ ﾘｵﾙ勺ﾙ畏ｧﾘｪﾙ ﾘｧﾙﾙﾙ ﾘｹﾙﾛ雇 ﾛ雇詔ﾘｧﾘｯﾙ摂 ﾘｨﾙ切ｧﾙ切ｳﾙﾙ拙 ﾙﾙ杓雇ﾙ借ｩﾙ ﾘｫﾙ勺ﾘｧﾘｫﾙ ﾙ ﾘｹﾙ切ｴﾘｱﾛ雇 ﾙ ﾛ雇勺ほ異ﾙ ﾛ雇勺異ﾙ ﾘｹﾘｧﾘｴﾙ畏ｱﾘｧ ﾛ雇勺異ﾙ ﾙほ借ｪﾙﾙ ﾘｧﾙﾘｭﾘｳﾛ雇 ﾘｨﾙ ﾘｹﾙﾛ ﾘｹﾙﾛ雇 ﾘｧﾙﾘｳﾙﾘｧﾙ
Infact, The Qﾄ≫冓m (mGehr)calls out his name* on the twenty-third night [of Ramadhan], and rises on the day of Ashurﾄ, the day Hu盪｣ayn ibn Alﾄｫ (pbuh) was killed.
2- Imﾄ［ Hu盪｣ayn (pbuh)窶 Rajﾊｽa will be after Mahdﾄｫ (mGehr)窶冱 emergence:
According to many narrations, Imﾄ［ Hu盪｣ayn (pbuh) and his companions (mGbths) will Rajﾊｽa [return] and help Imﾄ［ Mahdﾄｫ (mGehr), after the formation of the Mahdavﾄｫ government.
ﾘｧﾙ尺ｩﾙ異ﾙ ﾘｧﾙ異胎ﾙ ﾙﾙ勺 ﾛ雇勺ﾘｴﾙ勺ほ胎 ﾘｧﾙﾘｧﾘｱﾘｶ ﾘｹﾙﾙﾙ ﾙﾙ借ｧﾙ借ｮﾘｱﾙ証ｬﾙ
I will be the first that the earth is split for him, and I will rise
3- The people who look forward to Imﾄ［ Mahdﾄｫ (mGehr) Emergence, are the ones who love Imﾄ［ Hu盪｣ayn (pbuh):
The people who truly look forward to the Emergence of the Savior Mahdﾄｫ (mGehr), are the followers and believers in the rise and culture of Ashurﾄ [they have a true insight about it]. They are vigilant and awake to seek, in order to recognize the elements of oppression and enmity, and they prepare themselves for a total defense of Islﾄ［.
4-ﾂ Qualities and characteristics:
Although Imﾄ［ Mahdﾄｫ (mGehr) is the ninth offspring of Imﾄ［ Hu盪｣ayn (pbuh), The resonance of their voices is similar.

Also related to Imﾄ［ Mahdﾄｫ (mGehr)窶冱 brevity, Imﾄ［ Kadhim (pbuh) stated:
ﾙ異 ﾛ雇証ｨﾛ鈷ｱﾙ ﾚｩﾙ勺ﾙ胎 ﾘｬﾙ借ｨﾘｧﾘｱﾙ ﾘｹﾙ勺ﾛ鈷ｯ ﾙ ﾛ雇詔ﾙﾙ尺ｩﾙ ﾘｹﾙﾛ ﾛ雇借ｯﾙ拙 ﾚｩﾙ詔ﾙ胎 ﾘｴﾙ杓鈷ｷﾘｧﾙﾙ ﾙﾙ借ｱﾛ鈷ｯ
Every stubborn tyrant will be destroyed and every rebellious devil will perish.
5- Mecca and Kﾅｫfah are the common places, and origins of the events: The Emergence, ﾊｻﾄshﾅｫrﾄ’.
Imﾄ［ Husayn (pbuh) started his movement from Mecca. He went to Mecca, after leaving Medina. He informed the people of his rise beside Bayt al Haram [Ka’bah].
According to narrations after his emergence in Mecca, Imﾄ［ Mahdi (mGehr) will call the world to pledge allegiance to him. Then he will start reforming movements.
After the rise and the establishment of justice throughout the world, he will govern in Kﾅｫfah. As Imﾄ［ Bﾄ〈ir (pbuh) stated:
His Excellency Mahdi (mGehr), and 300 of his companions will leave Mecca and dozens of people will pledge allegiance to him.
6-Same social conditions
Among other things common between 窶写ｻﾄshﾅｫrﾄ’ and emergence, are the similar social conditions that exist at the time of both rises. The rise of Imﾄ［ Husayn (pbuh) took place at a time when the Islamic community was strongly driven towards corruption and destruction. Also, corrupted and oppressive rulers were placed at the head of it.
The conditions were such that Imﾄ［ Husayn (pbuh) would state:
ﾘｧﾙ勺ﾘｧ ﾘｪﾙ借ｱﾙ異ﾙ ﾘｧﾙ勺ﾙ胎 ﾘｧﾙﾘｭﾙほ胎 ﾙﾘｧ ﾛ雇証ｹﾙﾙ勺ﾙ ﾘｨﾙ拙 ﾙ異借ｧﾙ勺ﾙ胎 ﾘｧﾙﾘｨﾘｧﾘｷﾙ拙ﾙ ﾙﾘｧﾛ雇証ｪﾙ勺ﾘｧﾙﾛ ﾘｹﾙ勺ﾙ
Don’t you see that the right is not followed and the wrong is not prevented?
