In ancient India, the perfect man had been remarked as “Arhat” which means the worthy or perfect man, and as “Freeman”.

[Also] some Chinese schools such as Taoism and Confucius, mentioned about “Tao†and “The free man”.

He is [considered] as a holy pure man who has the highest human status.

Plato believed a “philosopher” has characteristics of the perfect man.

S/ he is the one who feels the presence of The Eternal Existence,

comes to the true existence, and brings wisdom and truth.

Aristotle named this type of person, “The gracious man” or  ” The dignified man” and described him as:

“Her/ his attitudes are honorable. S/ he is always there to give good pleasure to others.

Zarathustra knew him as having heavenly and superior features, and said:

My Lord! A pious man who upholds true thoughts and has clear conscience,

is the one that just thinks about you and needs your good deeds.

[Finally] In Islam and through the Shiites mysticism in particular, the perfect man is a human who has the Divine morality,

S/ he is the reason for creation and survival of the universe. He manifests the divine names, he is an intermediary between the creature (people) and the creator. And the only deputy of God on the earth.

He is [the very] Cup of Jmashid [1], the great elixir, Abdullah, Indi AllÄh (spiritually close to God); MahdÄ« (mgehr)”. He has been and will be living on the earth, [up until] doomsday
