How does His Excellency [Mahdī (mGehr)] get food, clothes and inhabitance and what are them?

Since we don’t have any narration related to this point, we suppose the Excellency’s food, clothes and inhabitance are natural and usual. It’s because, based on divine tradition, the world of creation has fixed usual laws, except some occasions.

Therefore, the ImÄm (mGehr) has a normal body and uses ordinary food, too. Although, God sometimes sends a heavenly gift to the Excellency, as it was granted to Her Excellency Mary (pbuh) and others.

We can be a role model for people of the world, by paving the path of ImÄm Huá¹£ayn (pbuh); that is, we can live in such a way that people express, “The followers of ImÄm Huá¹£ayn (pbuh) are so chivalrous, calm, purely and delighted!†Tranquility and comfort are of the characteristics that belong to the true life. Having a more comfortable life is not only a personal benefit, but also it is a social, historical, and MahdavÄ« [related to ImÄm ZamÄn (mGehr)] responsibility.

Calamities and Reading prayers

Once, ImÄm á¹¢Ädiq (pbuh) stated to his companions, ‘Can you recognize whether the disaster you suffer, will last long or not?’ The companions said, ‘No!’ The ImÄm reacted, ‘whenever reading is inspired [and you perform it] to each of you, it means the disaster doesn’t last [and it will be]!’   (KÄfÄ«, Vol. 2, P. 470)

2-    Why are the healthy people expected to read prayers as the sick people?

ImÄm ZamÄn (mGehr)’s duties while he is unknown are of two types, based on Sayyid Muḥammad á¹¢adr:

1-    Protecting his Shiites and friends and observing their social relations with other people. Also he observes them, since they are supposed to teach Islamic taught as good as possible, and implement Islamic laws.

Amīr al Mu’menin (pbuh) stated,

Ù…ÙŽÙ† عظَّم صغارَ المصائب٠ابتلاه٠الله٠بÙÚ©ÙبارÙها

 “Whoever sees small sufferings as big, big sufferings will affect them.â€

Once I went to Kūfah Mosque. I saw my Sir, Walī Aşr (mGehr) was busy with worshipping. There, I stood up and said Hi. He answered my hello and ordered me to get nearer. I just went a little forward, because of the ethics. He stated, ‘Come nearer!’  And I just went a little forward. Again he stated, ‘Come nearer!’ When I got nearer, he affectionately embraced me and kept me tight on his chest.

Then, whatever The Almighty God wanted, was transferred to my heart and chest….

On the eve of Ramadan 17th, Prophet [Muḥammad] (pbuh&h) went to the MiÊ¿rÄj. The next morning, Satan came to his present and said:

O, the Messenger of God (pbuh&h)! The last night when you went to the MiÊ¿rÄj, in the fourth heaven, there was a broken and burnt pulpit on the left side (Baitul Ma’mur) that fell inverted. Did you know that pulpit, and did you find out whose it was?

Some characteristics of the society who look forward to the Emergence

In Ayatollah KhÄmeneī’s point of view, the first and the most significant characteristic of the society which looks forward to the Emergence is that it has firm faith in the victory of truth against falsehood. Also, [it firm faith in]  the sure fulfillment of God’s promise which will be the result of spreading justice, due to the emergence of the Promised Savior “His Excellency Mahdii (mGehr)â€.

According to some translators and commentators of Nahj al-balÄgha, this word announces the Emergence of His Majesty MahdÄ« (mgehr), and the dawn of justice, and refers to the general principle of “this darkness will end up by the dawn, and the dawn will be replaced by the morning.”

Supply and demand

Supply is dependent on demand. All the religions around the world believe that a world peacemaker or a divine individual will come in the last era. However, this event depends on your demand.

 I just recite “O’ ibn al- Haá¹£an (mgehr)!â€. We get together in religious gatherings, and we even express our grief by beating our breasts, but this type of reciting “O’ ibn al- Haá¹£an (mgehr)†is superficial! I just repeat it over and over; it hasn’t been engraved on our hearts. If it had, we would have been obedient and submissive.
