Know that, there are many miracles narrated about The Excellency, which happened in the Minor Occultation Era, and during visiting him by the honorable people and NawwÄb [Four Deputies]. But as here they cannot be mentioned, just a few of them are narrated necessarily.

First: Shuyukh KulaynÄ«, Qutb RÄwandÄ«, and others narrated from a man of Mada’in, that he said:

[Once] I went on Hajj with one of my friend and we were sitting in. Next to us, a youth was sitting who was with a special top [the Riá¸Ä] and a bottom [the IzÄr]. We asked the price of them, and it was one hundred and fifty Dinars! He was with yellow Arabian sandals [Na’layn]. He didn’t look that have spent time on travel.

Anyway, a beggar came to us and wanted money, but we rejected him. He went to that youth and asked for money. The youth bent down and picked up something from the ground and gave it to him! The beggar prayed for him a lot. Suddenly, the youth stood up and disappeared!

We got near the beggar and asked him, ‘What did the youth gave you, that made you pray for him so much?!’ He showed us some golden bubbles which were serrated like gravel. We weighed them, and they were twenty MithqÄl [4.25g]. I told my friend, ‘He was our ImÄm and MawlÄ, but we didn’t realize. Those bubbles turned into gold, via his miracle!’ After that, we left there and looked for him, all around ‘ArafÄt. But we couldn’t find him!

We asked the crowd who were around him, and the people who were from Mecca and Medina that, “Who was that man?†But they said, ‘He was a youth always comes on Hajj, on foot.’

3-     It is a granodiorite hill about 20 km (12 mi) southeast of Mecca in the Makkah Province of Saudi Arabia The mountain is approximately 70 m (230 ft) in height. Its highest point sits at an elevation of 454 m (1,490 feet).

According to some Islamic traditions, the hill is the place where the Prophet Muhammad stood and delivered the Farewell Sermon, also known as the Khutbat al-Wada’, to his companions (sahabah) who had accompanied him for the Hajj towards the end of his life. Some Muslims also believe that Mount Arafat is the place where Adam and Eve (Hawa) reunited on Earth after falling from Heaven, believing the mountain to be the place where they were forgiven, hence giving it the name Jabal ar-Rahmah, meaning ‘Mountain of Mercy’. A pillar is erected on top of the mountain to show where this event is believed to have taken place.

The mountain is especially important during the Hajj, with the 9th day of the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah, also known as the Day of ‘Arafah after the mountain itself, being the day when Hajj pilgrims leave Mina for Arafat; this day is considered to be the most important day of the Hajj.
