My heart is counting down the moments for your Emergence, and my throat is calling out to you! You are the manifestation of love.
I prolong my Qunナォt1, so that you pray me, some midnight.
I will sweep the strange lonely alleys, so that you may pass through them in some early morning.
Every day, I turn the light of my heart on with al-Jト[iハソa al-Kabトォra (prayer), decorate my If盪ュト〉 table with トl Yト《トォn (prayer) and al-ハソAhd (supplication), and I listen to the affliction of Kumayl (Supplication), for your Emergence!
1- Qunナォt窶 literally means “being obedient” or “the act of standing” in Classical Arabic. The word Duハソaハセ’ is Arabic for supplication, so the longer phrase Duハソaハセ’ Qunナォt is sometimes used.
