Mahdīsm and ways to counter propagandas against the people who look forward to the Emergence

A mindful choice of religion:

Religion is not an inherited issue, that is inherited from father to son. But, everyone has a duty to choose their own religion by research, or to get certainty about it (Usūl al-Dīn: The Five fundamental beliefs of Islam). So, the question “Whether my religion is the right one or not” is the question and concern of all spiritually free people in the world.

Unfortunately, most people show what they tend to or get benefit from, as the laws of religion. Therefore, they accept or practice it.

That is, our desires often produce logic for us. Yet, we give logical reasons for what we like.

Hence, Imām Haṣan ‘s supporters protested against his peace with Muʿāwiyah, like the Shiites of the year 60 AH who protested against Imām Huṣayn (pbuh)’s rise!

A miracle in the form of prophecy:

One of the ways of proving the legitimacy of the prophets (pbu th), was performing miracles (It was for the people, to realize the rightfulness of that religion). One of the miracles of the prophets (pbu th), was telling the news of the future and the unseen. So, Westerners call those people “prophets”.

Prophecy is common in most religions; however, no other religion or ritual has just as accurate predictions as Shiism.

Not only many years, but some centuries before today Ahl al-Bayt (pbu th) predicted the state of the world today (before the Emergency)!

For example, people of the world will be informed about the abrupt events, wherever they are. It is as the household who learn what…. At house.

Imam Ṣādiq (pbuh) stated, “During the time Qā’im (mgehr) will rule over the government, if there is a believer in the east, they will see their brother in the west. The same, if someone is in the west, they will see their brother in the east.

Islam and the prophecy of the Last Era

The Aḥādīth that are relating to the signs of the Last Era, are among the prophecies of Ahl al-Bayt (pbu th), which have been and will be fulfilled one after another. In a way that, sometimes 70 signs of the Last Era and people of that time, are mentioned in one Ḥādīth.

For instance, in a Ḥādīth, Prophet Muḥammad (pbuh&h) stated to Ḥudhayfa b. al-Yamān:

I can see a day, when they recite Qurʾān nicely, but they do not act according to it! I can see a day, when they build their building tall!  I can see a day, when men disguise themselves as women, and the same happen for women! I can see a day, when pederasty is recognized [legal] in the world….

People of the Last Era plant a lot of trees, but they do not plant fruit trees….’ (Yūm al-Khalās fī Zel al- Qā’im al-Mahdī (mgehr), P.383)

Our duty in The Last Era:

The Last Era is [in fact] the peak point of darkness and oppression. But, Qurʾān and Ahl al Bayt (pbu th) promised us the emergence and triumph of light over darkness and the enlightenment of history. Yes! The world has reached the end of its darkness and oppression. Well, human has already done all types of Cruelty, corruption, depravity!

However, Imām Zamān (mgehr) emerges to reform the world into benevolence and peace. Today, we have no access the Sun “The Imām (mgehr)”. But not to get used to the Darkness of the Last Era and not to forget the Light, the only thing is to light a candle!

We need to be careful! Least we be infected to the current nastiness!

The characteristics and rank of the people who look forward to the Emergence:

Trust and faith in in The Unseen, are of the ways to keep faith safe in the unfavorable conditions of the world. When one is believing and pious, God opens the path for them. In fact, the heritors of the earth are the ones who are pious in the crossroad of Emergence, and believe in The Unseen and the Imām (mgehr) in occultation. The rank of this group, is so high that the Prophet (pbuh&h) mentioned them among his companions and called them his brothers…

The Holy Prophet [Muḥammad (Pbuh&h)] stated to His Majesty Alī (pbuh), ‘The greatest people in faith and certainty are those who will live in the future era. They have not met their Prophet (pbuh&h), their Imām is in the [Major] Occultation, and they will trust in a black [scripts] on a white [paper]1’. (Kamāl al-dīn wa tamām al-niʿma, V.1, P. 288)

So, lest we envy someone else’s worldly possessions, or the acquisition of wealth and property, keep us away from the way of God and Imām Zamān (mgehr). If so, we will suffer eternal regret and torment; The same as Shiite who, in the year 60 Ah, sold their Imām (pbuh) out to Muʿāwiya, for gold and silver.

It is difficult, but possible, to keep pure in the current situation of the world. However, the difficulty of religiosity in that way, brings a great reward for those who are looking forward to the Emergence.
