Professor: Ḥujjat ul Islam Ja’far Nâserī
The fact that we can’t benefit from, or benefit less from having relation to His Excellency Baqīyyatullāh* (mGehr), is because we have been doing a little; we are not providing the conditions!
We are paving another pass:
وَ اَنَ الراحِلَ اِلیک قَریبُ الَمسافه1
…And surely the path of the one who comes to you, is short.1
It’s high time to set off! Whoever has set off to you, has a short way to you…
Sometimes we haven’t set off, or we just took two steps! Or as the Excellency Amīr al Mu’menin (pbuh) stated,
وَ قَعَدَت بِی اَغلاَلی2
The chains of sin have stuck me to the ground2
Other times, we haven’t [even] set off, or we have set off but it wasn’t the true way; we have been paving a [wrong] way.
*-It is among the titles of Imām al-Mahdī (mGehr), the last Imam of Twelver Shi’a who is in occultation. The phrase “Baqīyyatullāh” is mentioned in the Qur’an and in some hadiths interpreting the Qur’an, it is interpreted as referring to the Infallible Imāms (pbu th) and in some other Aḥādīth, it is considered a title for Imām al-Mahdī (mGehr).
