some responsibilities of the people who look forward to the Emergence

The following list includes some responsibilities of the people who look forward to the Emergence; the book “Mikyal al Makarim”, Volume 2

1-    Trying to know the Excellency [Imām Mahdī (mgehr)]’s characteristics, mentality and personality.

2-    Observing politeness towards him.

3-    Expressing the affection to him, in an especial way.

4-    Letting the people know he is precious.

5-    Looking forward to the rise and the Emergence [of Imām Mahdī (mgehr)]

6-    Showing your enthusiast to visit the Honorable [Imām].

7-    Mentioning the Excellency (mgehr)’s nice traits and virtues.

8-    As a believer, feeling sad at the being away from the Excellency.

9-    Attending in the gatherings in which, they mention the Excellency (mgehr)’s nice traits and virtues.

10-Holding the gatherings in which, they mention the Excellency (mgehr)’s nice traits and virtues.

11- Composing the poems which are about the Excellency (mgehr)’s nice traits and virtues.

12- Reciting the poems which are about the Excellency (mgehr)’s nice traits and virtues.

13- Standing up, when they call the Excellency (mgehr)’s name or titles.

14-Crying over being away from him.

15- Make the people cry over their being away from him [by reciting poems, mentioning virtues, etc.].

16- Trying to be similar to the ones who cry over being away from him.

17- Requesting The Almighty God to give you the knowledge of Imām ‘Asr [Imām Mahdī (mgehr)].

18- Being persevered in requesting God to give you the knowledge of Imām ‘Asr [Imām Mahdī (mgehr)].

19- Being consistent in reading the prayer “Gharigh”:

O’ God, O’ the Beneficent, O’ the Merciful, O, one who changes the hearts, secure my heart in your religion!

20- Praying, during the Major Occultation of the Excellency.

21-Knowing the signs of the Excellency’s Emergence.

22- Submitting to God and not to haste.

23-Giving alms on behalf of the Excellency.

24- Giving alms for the Excellency’s health.

25-Going on a Hajj on behalf of the Excellency.

26- Sending an agent to perform Haj, on behalf of the Excellency.

27- Performing Ṭawāf in Bayt ul Harām [Ka’bah], on behalf of the Excellency.

28- Appointing an agent to perform Haj, on behalf of the Excellency.

29- Making pilgrimage the graves of the Messenger of God (pbuh&h) and the infallible Imāms (pbu th), on behalf of our Mawlā [Imām Mahdī (mgehr)].

30- Asking an agent to pilgrimage [the graves] on behalf of the Excellency; it is recommended in [the Shi’a] law.
