It took them some time, to believe and understand what had happened!

None of their [the enemies’] tricks work;

It took them some time, to believe and understand what had happened!

Thank to “Those who turn lead into gold1†as well as Divine attention, oracular auspices and the grace of the greatest BaqÄ«yyatullÄh2 (We’d sacrifice our lives for you) revolutionized the people.

So the revolution was on its way, and per each step the nation took, it grew tenfold.

1-     It’s a Persian poem by the honourable poet “ḤÄfeẓâ€

Those who turn soil into gold     Will they ever our sight behold? It is somehow equal to “Make a purse out of a sow’s ears.â€

2-BaqÄ«yyatullÄh (literally Remaining of Allah) is among the titles of Imam al-MahdÄ« (mgehr), the last Imam of Twelver Shi’a who is in occultation. The phrase “BaqÄ«yyatullÄh” is mentioned in the Qur’an and in some hadiths interpreting the Qur’an, it is interpreted referring to the Infallible Imams (pbu th) and in some other hadiths, it is considered the title for Imam al-MahdÄ« (mgehr). Lexically and in the commentaries, it means what God keeps for humanity. It has also been interpreted as blessing and abundance. The reason it has been interpreted referring to Imams (pbu th) is that they are God’s blessing upon humans.
