Professor Hujjat ul- Islam Mas’ud:
In Nudba prayer, there is a sentence which reads,
“عَزیزٌ عَلَیَ عَن اَبکِیَکَ وَ یَخذُلَکَ الوَری”
…It is hard for me that I weep for you but the others disappoint you…
Oh, sir! It’s hard for me when I see, I cry for you but others have totally forgot you; they have underestimated you.
یَخزُلَکَ الوَری
…(but) the others disappoint you
They don’t care about you at all; each one cares about their business!
These days, we take the serious things easy, but we take the easy things serious. Imagine, you are at Sayyid al Shuhadā [Imām Ḥusayn (pbuh)]’s time and he is doing something. There, is there anything more important than his [activities]?!Or we may react, “You care your business and we care ours?!”
Well, there were many people who fall behind Imām Huṣayn (pbuh), doing such behaviors! The most important thing for a Shi’a is, their Imām ‘s activities which are prior than theirs. Now see, some people have taken such an important and serious thing easy; they don’t notice that. Many unimportant have been taken serious.
Sometimes when the TV is playing a serial or a match, the streets will be empty! They have taken these jokes so serious; this match has been taken such serious that if their favorite match is scored against the other, they will [even] have a stoke!
[These things] have been taken serious, but Imām Zamān (mGehr)’s activities have been taken easy!
God bless Mírzá Abu al Faḍl who lived in Qumm, about 20 years ago… he probably died. This noble man has met the Excellency Walī Asr (mGehr), both in dreams and reality. In one of his meeting in Jamkarân, he has requested the Excellency, “Wouldn’t you like [want] to emerge?!”
The Excellency stated, “Mírzá Abu al Faḍl! no one care for us; no one looks for us! Each one cares their own business.
Mirza Abu al Faḍl reacted, “O, sir! So many times, they have come to Jamkarân; they have come here to pray, many times!”
The Excellency stated, “Mirza Abu al Faḍl! They usually come for their wishes to be fulfilled!”
Some of them needs to have a house, the other marriage, the other car, the other dowry [tocher]_ for example, and no one like Ayāzi comes and says, “O, Sāhib al zaman! I merely look for [need] you!
