Does the earth survive without the Imam [ Mahdī (mgehr)]’s presence?

In Rawati, Abū Ḥamzah says:

[Once] I asked Imam Sādiq (pbuh),

‘Does the earth survive without the Imam [Imam Mahdī (mgehr)]’s presence?’

[The Imam (pbuh)] stated, ‘If the Imam (mgehr) isn’t present, Earth will be ruined.’

In that Ḥadīth [1], it mentioned that the Imam (mgehr) isn’t present, Earth will be ruined and people will be killed.

We must keep in mind that, not only does Imam Zamān (mgehr) cause safety for us, and his existence brings about our presence and existence,

He also provides our mental, mind and thought security.

He is more compassionate than our fathers.

 

In another Hadith, they narrated from [The Shiites’] Imams (pbu th) that,

When Imam Zamān (mgehr) emerges, he will raise all the ruins of the world.

We’d better know that if we eager for and follow his path, we will easily realize that he has already raised the ruins of our hearts!

Since, he is called “Wali al-‘Asr”; Imam Zamān (mgehr).

And the blessings of the Imam’s existence, are not just limited to the Emergence Era.

As he is the Imam of Time [Imām Zamān (mgehr)], he will be effective at all times.
