Do you know Ahmad ibn- Helal?
He made Hajj for 54 times;
And he travelled 20 times of those, in foot!
He was a trustable man by imam Askari( pbuh), also one of special companions of prophet Muhammad( pbuh&h) and a narrator of the 14 infallible imams’ traditions …
But in Minor occultation (Ghaybat al- Sughra)1, he firmly denied the second deputy [ Muhammad ibn- Osman], after doing the same with the first one!
And finally turned into one of the false claimants!!
Imam Mahdi( pbuh)’ s handwriting about Ahmad ibn- Helal is notable:
“ Helal’s son wasn’t sustainable in his faith and although he served for a longtime, but wasted his faith into atheism, so God punished him for that.”
A: So what!
B: Nothing but, we shouldn’t be self-conceited, but should improve our humanity activities more than before!
God forbid self- conceit.
1- Minor occultation refers to the period of time in which imam Mahdi( pbuh) ‘s whereabouts were disclosed only to a select few deputies.
