[Once] I asked ImÄm ËŠAskarÄ« (pbuh), ‘Your heybat character [usually] prevents me from asking you questions! Do you let me ask you a question, [now]?’
‘Ask’, The ImÄm (pbuh) replied. I asked, ‘My sir! Do you have any children?’
He replied, ‘Yes!’ I kept on, ‘Where can I meet him, if something will happen to you?’ He stated, ‘In Medina.’
“About ImÄm MahdÄ« (mgehr)â€Abdu’l-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr (born 911 AH) wrote in his initial:This is a part in which, I have collected the Ahadith and works about MahdÄ« (mgehr).I summarized forty AḥÄdÄ«th which “Abu Nu`aym†mentioned about.
Have you known, Mahdī (mgehr)is the most famous title for Imam Zaman (mgehr)?
[And], have you known the word Mahdavīat is more famous amongst the Sunnis?
In narrations the title Mahdī (mgehr) has mostly referred after his emergence, and the title QĒim (mgehr) before his emergence.
Imam BÄqir (pbuh) stated, ‘Indeed he was called MahdÄ«, because he is going to be guided via the secret [Divine] path.
‘It’s a chapter, in which I collected the hadiths and traditions about MahdÄ« (mgehr)
I briefly mentioned, the forty hadiths that “HÄfiz Abu Na’Ä«m” had presented.
In addition, I added and encoded in “K” whatever he hadn’t mentioned.
[Well], the whole hadiths that were collected in this book_ both narrated and added by Abu Na’Ä«m_ are more than two hundred hadiths…
In his book Ibá¹Äl al-BÄá¹il, Faá¸l Ibn RÅ«zbahÄn wrote some sentences about the truth of prophet (pbuh&h)’s Ahl al-Bayt [household]. He ends the text as:
How good I wrote about them:
Peace be upon MustafÄ1 (pbuh&h); Mujtaba 2. [The Prophet (pbuh&h)]
Peace be upon Sayyid4 Murtaá¸Ä5 [Imam Ali (pbuh)]
Peace be upon our lady FÄá¹imah (pbuh), whom God assigned her Khayr al-NisÄ’ 5
In the Last Era [of my people], there comes a caliph who donates abundant wealth and doesn’t count it.
[Then], a man will come to him and request him, ‘O, Mahdi (hgr)! Grant me [something]! Grant me…’
And Mahdi (hgr) will donate him as much as he can carry.
“I am seeing1 SufyÄni who deployed [his troops] in KÅ«fah square.
And his crier calls,†Whoever brings heads of Ali’s Shiites, will be gifted one thousand Dirham.â€
1-          Imams, Prophet Muhammad, other prophets (pbu th), and other great majesties had the power of spiritual seeing; because of their piety and other spiritual features. So, the word†seeing†here refers to this type.
When a Sunni Muslim (from Kenya) asked about Imam Mahdi (hgr)’s status, the time and place of his emergence and other issues of Mahdīsm,
the Wahhabi religious center in Saudi Arabia “Rabitah Al-‘Alam al-Islami” Â responded like this:
“Mahdi (hgr), Muḥammad ibn Ê¿Abd AllÄh b. Ḥasani1, is Alawi and Fatimi (pbu th).
And he is the promised and awaited Mahdi (hgr)!!
He will emerge in the Last Era
BaydÄ’ is the name of a land between Mecca and Madinah.
It is one of the signs of Imam Mahdi (hgr)’s emergence,
which has been raised in both Shia and Sunni authentic books.
In several Shia narrations, this sign has been counted as one of the “certain and definite signs of the Emergence”…
[Fluttering black flags], is of other signs of the Last Era or the Emergence time.
It was mentioned in Shia and Sunni Narrations, [Yet, it is not from the imminent signs.]
[Those are] the flags to support and guide [people] to the path of Imam Mahdi (hgr),
which will be raised from Khorasan.
