Now in this chapter, we will mention a summary of what Sayyid Sanad, Faqih, and glorified Muḥadith “The late Sir, Sayyid Ismael AqÄ«lÄ« NurÄ« (mGihg1) mentioned in his book “KifÄyat al Muvaḥḥidinâ€. These signs are of two types:
1-Â Â Â Certain types
2-Â Â Â Uncertain types
The Certain Signs are as follows, in brief and in turn:
First is the Appearance of DajjÄl. The damned one will claim to be The Divine!! Because of his wicked existence [activities], there will be lots of blessing and intrigue in the world. According to the narrations, his right eye is ruined and wiped. But his left eye is in the middle of his forehead, and it shines like a star! Also between his two eyes, he will put a bloody cloth!
He has a huge, strong, odd, and strange body, and he is very skilled in magic. Against him, there is a mountain that he [magically] makes it appear to people as a large piece of bread. And behind him, there will be a white mountain which look as smooth flowing water to the people through the same way!
He will call out:
اَوْلÙیائى اَنَا رَبÙّكÙم٠الا عْلى
My friends, I am your Lord, not Alī.
Then, the devils; the alive and dead, tyrants, hypocrites, wizards, druid   disbelievers, and bastards will gather around him. The devils will surround him and will engage in [unlawful] singing, playing musical instruments such as lute, pipes, the types of instruments and the harps.
So, his followers’ hearts will be occupied with those songs and melodies. Then in the eyes of the weak-minded men and women, they will play so magically that make all dance! And, all the people follow him to hear those songs, melodies, and enchanting voices. It will be as if all the people are intoxicated and drunk!
Abu Umamah narrated as follows:
The Messenger of God (pbuh&h) stated, ‘Whoever among the believers sees DajjÄl, they must spite on him, recite the blessed Surah Hamd, in order to ward off the spell of that damned one!
As that damned one appears, he will fill the world with sedition and chaos.
[Anyways], there will be war among him and the army of Qa’im (mGehr), and that damned one will be killed by His Excellency Hujjat [Qa’im (mGehr)]’s blessed hand or by Isa ibn Maryam [prophet Jesus the Christ (pbuh)].
Second is The Call or Heavenly Cry in sky. There have been many narration which prove that it is one of the Certain Signs.
In this regard, Mufaá¸á¸al ibn Ummer (mGmhs) narrated from ImÄm á¹¢Ädiq (pbuh), that he stated:
His Excellency Qa’im (mGehr) will enter Mecca and will be seen near Ka’ba. Then as the sun rises, a caller’s voice comes from the sun. It is so loud that everyone in the world will hear it! It will call:
O, group of creatures! Be aware, this is MahdÄ« of Ale Muḥammad (pbuh&h)! Call him with the name and nick name of His ancestor “the Messenger of God (pbuh&h). His blessed lineage goes to his honorable father “ImÄm Ḥasan AskarÄ« (pbuh) ibn AlÄ« ibn Muḥammad ibn AlÄ« ibn MÅ«sÄ ibn Ja’far ibn Muḥammad ibn AlÄ« ibn al- Huá¹£ayin ibn AlÄ« ibn AbÄ« ṬÄlib.
Also, the caller will express the honorable Excellency’s lineage with noble names of his pure ancestors in such a way that, all the people whether in East or West of the world can hear.
And it will keep on, “If you pledge allegiance with him, you will be guided. But if you disobey his rule, you will go astray!â€
Angels, NuqabÄ*, and noble Jennies will in this way, “O, the caller toward God! We have heard [what you said] and will obey!â€
Hearing the call, the creatures will head to the Holy Mecca from cities, villages, deserts and seas whether in East or West of the world! They will be at the service of the Excellency.
On the other hand, about the sunset; from the west side Satan will shout, “O, group of people! Your God is in Yabis Desert! He is the very UthmÄn ibn Anbasah, who is one of the offspring of YazÄ«d ibn MuÊ¿Äwiyah ibn Abi SufyÄn!
Let’s pledge allegiance to him and be guided! If you violate, you will go astray!
There, angels, NuqabÄ, noble Jennies and humans will deny him. But hypocrites, skeptics, and misguided ones will go astray.
Furthermore, there will be another call heard from the sky! The call will be before Hujjat Allah [Mahdī (mGehr)]’s Emergence, which is one of Certain Signs of the Emergences. It will surly happen on the nights of 23th Ramadhan. And all the habitants of Earth; whether in east or west will hear it!
The caller is Gabriel who will loudly call:
اَلْØÙ€ÙŽÙ‚ÙÙ‘ مـَعَ عـَلÙّى٠وَ شـیـعَتÙÙ‡
“The Right is with AlÄ« [pbuh] and his Shiites.â€
On the contrary, Satan will call from somewhere between sky and earth, in the middle of the day. Again all can hear it! He will call:
اَلْØÙŽÙ‚ÙÙ‘ مَعَ عÙثْمانَ ÙˆÙŽ شیعَتÙÙ‡
“The Right is with UthmÄn and his companions!!!â€
Third is, the rise of SufyÄnÄ« from Yabis valley. And it is an arid desert, between Mecca and ShÄm. SufyÄnÄ« is an ugly man, with pockmarked face, broad shouldered, and blue- green eyes, whose real name is “UthmÄn ibn Anbasahâ€. He is of YazÄ«d ibn MuÊ¿Äwiyah (mGdhs)’s children.
The damned one will conquer five big cities. They will include: Damascus, Homs, Palestine, Jordan, and Qansarin. Afterward, he will send many armies around! And most of his armies will head to BaqdÄd and KÅ«fa. Well, they will commit murder, plunder, and indecency there
And a lot of men in KÅ«fa and Ashraf Najaf will be murdered! Afterward, he will send a group of the army to ShÄm, and the other part to the holy city of Medina. As they reach Medina, they will destroy the people for 3 days and cause a lot of damage. Then they will head to Mecca, but they won’t reach there!
On the other side, the group which heads to ShÄm will be defeated by Hujjah of God [ImÄm MahdÄ« (mGehr)], along the way! He will destroy them all, and seize their properties entirety[2]. Nevertheless, the tribulation of that accursed one will be very great in the surrounding countries; especially for the Shiites of AlÄ« ibn Abi ṬÄlib (pbuh).
It’s in a way that, his [SufyÄnī’s] caller will announce, “Whoever brings the head of one of AlÄ« ibn Abi ṬÄlib (pbuh)’s friends, will receive a thousand dirhams!†Yet, the people, even the neighbors will betray each other [to the enemies]; claiming that their neighbor is a friend of AlÄ« ibn Abi ṬÄlib (pbuh).
Anyhow, as the part of army which will head to Mecca reach the land of Bayda that is somewhere between Mecca and Medina, The Almighty God sends an angel which will call, “Oh, earth, swallow these damned people!†So, the ground will open and all that army which will be three hundred thousand ones, will sink into the ground with horses and weapons, except for two people
They are brothers who are from Jahniyah tribe. Their faces will be disguised by the angels. The angels will name one of them “Bashirâ€[3] and order him, “Go to Mecca and give tidings to the people, that the Excellency SÄhib al Amr (mGehr) has destroyed SufyÄnī’s army.†Also, they will name another one “NadhÄ«râ€[4] and order him, “Go to ShÄm and tell SufyÄnÄ« the [above] news and warn him!†In this way, those two will head to Mecca and ShÄm.
As SufyÄnÄ« hears the news, he will set off from ShÄm for KÅ«fa and ruin there a lot. But when the Excellency Qa’im (mGehr) reaches KÅ«fa, the damned SufyÄnÄ« will escape and return to ShÄm. There, the Excellency will send an army to chase him. So, they will [obey] and kill him in Bayt al-Muqaddas. [5]They will behead his evil head and send his wicked soul to hell!
1-May God illuminate his grave.
2-It’s because they are savage and will have unlawful properties.
3-It refers to someone who gives good news and makes them happy.
4-It refers to someone who gives bad news and warns them.
5-The Dome of the Rock or Qubbat al-Sakhra is a monument in the city of Jerusalem built on the platform at the top of Mount Moriah known as Bayt al-Maqdis or Bayt al-Muqaddas (the Holy House) and, by the common term for similar Muslim sacred places in Makkah and Madinah, the Haram al-Sharif (Noble Sanctuary).
