Pray for Imām Zamān (mGehr)’s health

One of the duties is praying for the protection of the blessed presence of Walī Aṣr (mGehr) from the devils’ evil, humans, and jinn. Also, [it’s praying for] hastening the Sir’s Emergence, help, victory, and defeating the infidels, atheists, and hypocrites. This is a type of expressing servitude, enthusiasm, and excessive love.

There are a lot of related prayers; one of them is the prayer by Yunus ibn Abd al Raḥmān. He narrated from His Excellency Imām Riḍā (pbuh), that he used to state: … اللھم ادفع عن ولیك و خلیفتك و حجتك

O God, defend your Walī and caliph, and be your proof for your creatures…

[Sayyid ibn Ṭāwūs referred to this prayer for Imām Zamān (mGehr), to be recited on Fridays.

(I mentioned this prayer in the book “Mafātīh”. It’s for the pilgrimage of His Excellency Sāhib al Amr (mGehr). In addition, I mentioned another prayer, which is a Ṣalawāt, attributed to Abu al Ḥasan Ẓarab Iṣfahānī. It was mentioned in “Mafātīh”, which ought to be recited as the last rituals on Fridays.)

It is as follows:

اللّھُمَ كُنْ لِوَلِیِّكَ فلان بن فلان

O God, be ….for your such and such. [Here, be refers to the following lines. And the author said that, the people need to replace “Hujjah ibn al Ḥasan (mGehr)”, that is Imām Zamān (mGher)]

May Your blessings be upon him and his fathers. Be his guardian, protector, leader, helper, guide, and watchman at this hour and every hour, so that You may willingly settle him in Your land and grant him long-term enjoyment.

Then, you need to repeat this prayer on the third Ramadhan, whether you are standing, sitting, or you are in any other position, and also during the whole month.

And do it as much as possible, and whenever it comes to you. After praising the Almighty God and reciting Ṣalawāt on the Prophet and his Ahl al Bayt (pbu th), you need to recite this prayer and others, which we cannot mention here. For further interest, refer to the book “Najm al Sāqib”.
