The sixteenth is, uncovering ʾAmīr al-Muʾminīn’s Mus’haf [1]. After the decease of the Messenger of God (pbuh &h), it was collected by His Majesty [ʾAmīr al-Muʾminīn’s]; without any change and distortion. Also it contains all, that was sent to the Prophet (pbuh&h) [by God] through miracle.
But after completion; when his Majesty provided it to the Sahabi [2], they ignored it. Therefore, His Majesty hid it, and it will remain hidden until The Excellency [Imām Mahdī (mgehr)] uncovers it.
There, people will be expected to read and memorize it. And since it has a difference with the existing Mus’haf that people are familiar with, [just] in the order [of Verse], it would be a hard [ and of importance] duty for the followers to memorize it.
The seventeenth is, a white cloud will cast its shadow over The Excellency’s head. There, a herald cries out from within the cloud, ‘He is Mahdī (mgehr), of Prophet Muhammad (pbu &h)’s descent! He will fill the world with justice, after it is filled with oppression’. And it is heard by humans and angles, and whoever is in the east or west. Mind that, the “Call out” in that phrase is different from the one, mentioned in the part “Fourteen”.
The Eighteenth is, Angels and Jinn will take part in The Excellency’s Army.
They will emerge to help him the nineteenth is that, duration of the time, spinning day and night, and The rotation of the celestial sphere, have had no effect on the power, temperament, limbs, strength, face and glory of His Excellency [Mahdī (mgehr)]. The Excellency is one thousand and ninety five years old now. Well, just God knows how old he will be at the time of his emergence. He will look young, as a thirty or forty- year- old man.
[Read these verses:]
“اِنَّ ھذا بَعْلى شَیْخا ” (Surah Hud, Verse 72),
and She said, She said: “Alas for me! shall I bear a child, seeing I am an old woman, and my husband here is an old man? That would indeed be a wonderful thing!”
“اِنّى وَھَنَ الْعَظْمُ مِنّى وَاشْتَعَلَ الرَّاءْسُ شَیْبَا (Surah Maryam [Mary], Verse 4),
Praying, “O my Lord! infirm indeed are my bones, and the hair of my head doth
glisten with grey: but never am I unblest, O my Lord, in my prayer to Thee!”
Unlike him, one [prophet (pbuh) was overshadowed by aging, and the other lamented his weakness!
Shaykh Sadooq narrated from Abusalt Herawi [3], that he said:
[Once,] I asked The Excellency, Imām Riḍā (pbuh), ‘What is the sign of Your Qā’im (mgehr) when he emerges?’ He stated, ‘The sign is, although he is in his old hood, he looks so young that the people think that
The twentieth is, the horror and animosity will disappear among animals, and also between humans and animals. Yet, the hostility will disappear in such a way that, it was before Habel was killed.
Amir al Muʾminīn (pbuh) stated:
When our Qā’im (mgehr) emerges, Peace is established between predators and beasts. Also it is established between animals and humans; in such a way that, women walk on the grasses, in Iraq and Shām [streets]. They wear their adornment, but they will not be shocked or terrified by predator.
1. It is an Arabic word for a collection of sheets, but mainly it refers to a written copy of the Qur’ān.
2. They are Companions of the Prophet (pbu &h), who saw or met him during his lifetime and were physically in his presence.
3- ʿAbd al-Salām b. Ṣāliḥ, known as Abū l-Ṣalt al-Hirawī and Khwāja Aba Ṣalt (b. about 160/776 d.236/851), was a close companion of Imām al-Riḍā (pbuh) and a scholar of hadith and kalam (theology).
After Imam al-Riḍā ‘s (pbuh) arrival in Khorasan, he went there and accompanied him. He transmitted the Golden Chain Hadith as well as the story of Imām al-Riḍā (pbuh) being martyred by al-Ma’mun al-‘Abbasi. Abu l-Salt passed away in 236/851 in the period of Tahir b. ‘Abd Allah b. Tahir’s rule in Khorasan. His burial place is located on the Mashhad-Fariman road 10 kilometers from Mashhad. Pilgrims of Imam al-Riḍā’ s (a) shrine visit his mausoleum as well.
