According to some narrations “Imam Zaman (mgehr)’s emergence will occur at once; when it is not expected”.
And [to others] “his emergence will occur overnight”.
Criticism & consideration
Such narrations are [as] allusions to hastening the Emergence
So, This “Imam Zaman (mgehr)’s emergence will occur when it is not expected”, doesn’t contradict [the Emergence] signs.
[But] Islam, is the only heavenly doctrine which hasn’t been changed or distorted
Both Shiites and Sunnis call The Promised Savior in Islam “Mahdī (mgehr)”
[In fact], Mahdī (mgehr) is his most well- known title.
When two things are extremely far and different on the rank point of view (such as God who is in the highest position vs. the world which is in a very low rank),
There needs for intermediates, in order for the low rank to contact the high.
Like “sunlight”, which is an intermediary between the fireball of the sun and the cold globe of the earth.
Maitreya means kind and lovely.
In Buddhist symbolism, he is shown as a man in a sitting position that is ready to stand.
Well, this is the symbol of rise. [The emergence]
Wherever Buddhists are, Maitreya is as a main character in their thoughts.
It is a thought that still exists among the Buddhists
Have you known, Mahdī (mgehr)is the most famous title for Imam Zaman (mgehr)?
[And], have you known the word Mahdavīat is more famous amongst the Sunnis?
In narrations the title Mahdī (mgehr) has mostly referred after his emergence, and the title Qā’im (mgehr) before his emergence.
Imam Bāqir (pbuh) stated, ‘Indeed he was called Mahdī, because he is going to be guided via the secret [Divine] path.

The looking forward mentioned in narrations, is not just sitting and crying!
[But], we should prepare ourselves for serving Imam Mahdi (mgehr).
Looking forward for The Emergence means being on the alert for it, prepared,
The above verse shows they [disbelievers’] denied Imam Qa`em (mgehr)
As they will say to him (mgehr),’We do not know you. And you are not of Fatima (pbuh)’s descendants.’
Just like what polytheists said to Prophet Muḥammad (pbuh&h)!
Some materials are essential for a train, to reach a destination;
Including wagons, rails, fuel, locomotives, a locomotive driver and a path clear of obstacles [such as falling rocks, etc.]
Also some trains smoke and whistle, which show they are approaching the destination.
Smoke and whistle are like the signs of the Emergence
…. If they had been apart,We should certainly have punished the Unbelievers among them with a grievous Punishment.
(Holy Qur`an, Surah AL-FATH, verse 25)
This is God’s destiny that [sometimes] disbelievers and hypocrites carry the deposits1of believers in their loins.
Hence Imam Ali (pbuh) didn’t kill their fathers [ancestors], in order for those deposits to be born [afterward].
