There was an old friendship and companionship between one of the Twelver Shi’a scholars whose name was Abu al- QÄsim ibn Muḥammad ibn AbÄ« al- QÄsim ḤasemÄ«, and one Sunni scholar, called RafÄ«Ê¿ al-DÄ«n Ḥusayn. They had a partnership in their properties and were together in most situations and on trips. But, none of them hid his religion or his belief from the other. Abu al- QÄsim used to call RafÄ«Ê¿ al-DÄ«n NÄá¹£ibÄ«, as humor, and on the other hand, RafÄ«Ê¿called Abu al- QÄsim as RÄfiá¸ah

A crowd of the people from Najaf informed me, that a KÄshÄnÄ« man came to Najaf Ashraf in order to go on Ḥajj to Bayt al HarÄm. But he became disabled there, because of a serious disease. It was so serious that he had still legs, and he couldn’t walk!
There was a ruler in Ḥillah who they called him ‘Marjan Saghir’, and he was a NÄá¹£ibÄ«. [Once]They told him that AbÅ«-Rajeh always curses á¹¢aḥÄba.
So that wicked [ruler] ordered to bring him to his present. When he was taken there, the ruler ordered them to beat him. And they beat him so much that he was about to die. They beat him all over his body, even his face so hard that he lost his teeth.
I arranged to stay there to pray and request [ my wishes from Allah] that night. It was rainy and windy, so I asked the custodian, Abi Ja’far, to close the doors of the illuminating chamber. Also, i requested him to permit [the people to make] that blessed place busy so that I could make private for praying and requesting, and stay safe from those whom I was afraid of visiting.
I got tired on the way to Mecca and fell behind after the caravan. I was disappointed with life and lied down on the ground on my back, almost moribund reciting ShahÄda, suddenly I saw our MawlÄ, the MawlÄ of the worlds, the caliph of Allah over the entire human beings. He (mgehr) stated, ‘Get up, O IsḥÄq’.
he was imprisoned by one of the rulers of Sultan Chormaqan for a long time, in a very hard and severe condition. Once, he saw the pious successor, the one who looks forward to the Emergence, [ImÄm MahdÄ« (mgehr)], in his dream. So, he cried and said, ‘O’ My MawlÄ! Intercede for me to get rid of this oppressor group’.
His Excellency replied, ‘Recite the ‘AbarÄt supplication’. Sayyid asked, ‘Which one is ‘AbarÄt?’
one night we were getting together at the time of Isha prayer. All of a sudden, he called out that, ‘Hurry up!’ And when we rushed toward him, he said, ‘Be in hurry and find your SÄhib [mgehr], he left me a moment ago! But whatever we searched around, we couldn’t find His Excellency! We came back and wondered, ‘What happened?!’
I told myself, ‘I will go out hungry anyway, and if I get perished, I will be relieved and otherwise, I will get to the caravan.’ I came out of the gate and asked for the way, they showed me the two directions. I walked until the evening but did not get anywhere, then I realized that I lost my way.
I reached an endless desert where, nothing grew there, but the watermelon of Abu Jahl “Khiaratlkh. Due to the severity of my hunger and thirst, I cut about 500 bitter melons, hoping that one of them is watermelon, but it was not!
