Never before in history have all moral virtues been stood in front of all moral vices, as they were on Ashura 61 Ah! The confrontation of Ḥusayn b. Alī (pbuh) against the army of Yazīd, the struggle of the ‘Ultimate Truth’ against the ‘Ultimate Falsehood’. In one side, the ‘Highest Human Virtues’ and on the other, the ‘Lowest and most despicable qualities’.

Recognizing the seditions within the Last Era

The Messenger of God (pbuh&h) stated, “Don’t consider the seditions of the Last Era as malevolent! It’s because they can ruin the hypocrites!”
[Yes,] he mentioned that the seditions are needed to exist. He stated:
لَتَغْرَبَّنَ غَربَله
To sift through His [God’s] sieve
