If someone attempts to reach the ImÄm (mgehr), and stays with him, nothing will harm him. However, this is very difficult, because this is the essence of the test that the Almighty God takes from us.
Everyone desires to accompany the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), even the hypocrites who would claim to believe but truly did not have faith. Almighty God creates a crucible that separates the believers from the hypocrites.
God has reserved him [ImÄm ZamÄn]. It’s because, no one [from the first to the last] have had this power to spread justice throughout the world, and it was for him alone. This it what the prophets (pbu th) failed to achieve, even though they came to serve it.
When Imam Ali (peace be upon him) challenged Muawiyah to a duel during the Battle of Saffin so that people could be spared from the war with the death of one of them.
Amr ibn al-As said to Muawiyah: “Imam Ali has been fair to you, and it would be best if you yourself confronted him.”
Alī bn al Huṣayn (pbuh) stated, ‘One day, the Messenger of God (pbuh&h) and his companions were sitting in the mosque. Then, he stated, ‘[Now], a man of heaven will enter and ask about the matters which are related to him!
The Prophet (PBUH)’s name is mentioned in Qur’an five times; once the name Aḥmad and four other times the name Muḥammad. Prophet Moses [pbuh]’s name has occurred 136 times in Qur’an. More than 900 verses of Qur’an are about the children of Israel without which, the subject of ImÄm MahdÄ« (mgehr)’s emergence cannot be initiated. The noble prophet [of Islam] (pbuh) stated, “No lizard goes to a hole in the children of Israel unless it will happen to my nation as well.†(Muntakhab al-’Athar, p. 98)
One must know the nation of Israel, in order to learn Enemyology[1], because God has stated, “Surely You will find the most hostile of all people towards the faithful to be the Jews and the polytheists.†(Al-MÄ’idah 5:82)
the ImÄm wrote a nice letter in Latin language and in Latin style handwriting. Then, he sealed it with his seal. He also took out a sack that was full of gold and had two hundred and twenty Ashrafi1. He stated, ‘Take this letter and gold, head to BaqdÄd. Then you should be present at such bridge on such day.
When the ships that carry the captives landed on the shore, you could see a crowd of bondmen. Also, a group of deputies of Bani AbbÄs’s Emirs and a few Arab young men will gather around them. All day long, you have to be on the lookout for the slaver named “Amroo ibn YazÄ«dâ€. You will wait until the time, he introduces the bondwoman who has such and such features… she will wear silk clothes.
ImÄm á¹¢Ädiq (pbuh) stated:
A Muslim’s prayer for their brothers [other Muslims] in their absence, makes him to be safe from the calamities and gifts him God’s blessing. Also, the divine angels call him/ her, ‘You will be gifted twice the things, you prayed [wished] for your brother!’
Since we don’t have any narration related to this point, we suppose the Excellency’s food, clothes and inhabitance are natural and usual. It’s because, based on divine tradition, the world of creation has fixed usual laws, except some occasions.
Therefore, the ImÄm (mGehr) has a normal body and uses ordinary food, too. Although, God sometimes sends a heavenly gift to the Excellency, as it was granted to Her Excellency Mary (pbuh) and others.
