There are various narrations about Sufyanī ’s religion. But as they aren’t documentarily reliable enough, we cannot come to a definite view about Sufyanī ’s religion. Yet, it is definite that he is in severe bias and enmity with Shiites, in his religious tendencies.
Coincidence of Yamânî ’s and Sufyanī s rise
ImÄm SadÄ«q (pbuh) stated,Sufyanī’s rise and the rise of Yamânî with the white flags, will happen during one day, one month and one year.
The name “Al- Yamânî. 1â€
“[It is when], the men look like the women…! Then, Sufyanii4 rises from aÅ¡-Å Äm [Sham], and Yamânî rises from Yemen.

People have been always eager to know the future and its bitter and sweet events. This is why the soothsayers’ market is thriving.
This predictors are either divine (their words originate from revelation), or evil and earthly.

According to some narrations “Imam Zaman (mgehr)’s emergence will occur at once; when it is not expectedâ€.
And [to others] “his emergence will occur overnightâ€.
A sign is just sign
 White Hair is a sign of aging, but the cause of it isn’t hair color! Paleness is a symptom of an illness, but the cause of it is not the skin color!
The Emergence symptoms are just the emergence’s illustrator and don’t have anything to do with emergence realization. In other words the symptoms have no role in, but just are signs in approaching the emergence.
“The rise of Yamani†is one of the certain signs of the Emergence.
It is an excellence-oriented, reforming rise that has been emphasized on its helping [by others].
In some narrations “The rise of Yamani†is confirmed and advocated;
therefore, this view “Amendment movements in the era of absence are doomed to fail and contrary to the will of Ahl al-Bayt1 (pbu th)†is not acceptable.
Watch out for simulation!
There will be the possibility of interpreting or incorrect paraphrasing of the Emergence signs.
For instant, it had been narrated that:
After Celestial voice_ which is a miraculous and very marvelous incident _
To copy the voice, Satan will blot out and make people suspicious
Interestingly, in narratives it is stated,
‘From Satan’s sedition, just the ones will be saved,
The benefits of [knowing about] the signs of the Emergence
[Knowing about] the proofs and signs of The Emergence, can be effective at least in these two circumstances:
[First] when people are unaware of these issues; whether because of slacking off or neglect of the advertising agents.
[Second] when people haven’t  been directed to the right way based on the correct criteria, due to being captured in doubts’ trap, and providing atmosphere of intrigue by the false frontier and complexity of circumstances
