Respecting Imﾄ［ Zamﾄ］ (mGehr) whenever you hear his name
in the presence of Imﾄ［ 盪｢ﾄ‥iq (pbuh), the blessed name of the Sir [Imﾄ［ Zamﾄ］ (mGehr)] was mentioned. There, the Imﾄ［ stood up to pay homage and respect to him.
Pray for Imﾄ［ Zamﾄ］ (mGehr)窶冱 health
One of the duties is praying for the protection of the blessed presence of Walﾄｫ A盪｣r (mGehr) from the devils窶 evil, humans, and jinn. Also, [it窶冱 praying for] hastening the Sir窶冱 Emergence, help, victory, and defeating the infidels, atheists, and hypocrites. This is a type of expressing servitude, enthusiasm, and excessive love.
ﾂThe divine reward of looking forward to Imﾄ［ Zamﾄ］ (mGehr)窶冱 Emergence
O, Thﾄ｜it! Indeed, The Almighty God had set the time for this matter in 70AH. But when Hu盪｣ayn (pbuh) was killed, God窶冱 anger against the people of the earth became intense; so, He delayed it until 140AH. But as I informed you, you spread our news and revealed the secret! So, The Almighty God delayed it, did not inform us to set the time for it.
About some duties of the worshippers toward Walﾄｫ Asr (mGehr)
O, my Sayyid[4]! Your Occultation has robbed me of sleep, deprived me of rest, and taken away the joy from my heart! O, my Sayyid! Your Occultation made my affliction constant, has made my troubles and misfortunes continuous. It brought tears to my eyes. It brought out groans, lamentations, and sorrow from my chest, and brought calamities upon me!
Supporting pilgrims by Imﾄ［ Zamﾄ］ (mGehr)
He stated, 窶楼nce, I came out of Hillah on the midnight of 14th of Shaﾊｾban, to visit [Holy Shrine of] the Excellency Abﾅｫ ﾊｿAbd Allﾄ” (pbuh). When we reached to Al-Hindiyya river, crossed it and went to the western side, I saw pilgrims who had left Hillah and its surroundings, and pilgrims who had come from Najaf Ashraf and its surroundings. They all were restricted in the houses of the Bani Turuf tribe, of the Hindiyya nomads.
Visiting Imﾄ［ Zamﾄ］ (pbuh), after forty nights worshipping
The mentioned Shaykh 盧､usayn was a pious man with a pure nature who was of righteous special people. He was suffering from a chest disease and was coughing up blood and phlegm.
Yet, he was in extreme poverty and misery, and he could not even effort his daily bread. Most of the time, he went to the Arab Bedouin around Najaf in order to get some food, even some barley. Tolerating all poverty and disease, he was enamored of a girl from Najaf. But her relatives rejected his proposal, because of his poverty.
The Prophet’s (pbuh&h) respect for those who do good to parents
O, the Messenger of God (pbuh&h)! You behaved with his sister in a different way from the way you did with him. Know that he is a man?! We mean, he is superior than his sister in getting that attention and kindness!
He reacted, 窶廬t was because, she took care of her parents more than what he did.窶
Serving parents is better than [Shi窶兮]Jihad
He stated, 窶榔erforming prayer at its time, doing good to parents, and Jihﾄ‥ in the way of God; Verily, if you are killed, you will be alive in the presence of God, and will be provided there. And if you die, your reward will be with God. But if you survive, you will come out of your sins like the day when you were born.
Imﾄ［ Zamﾄ］ (mGehr)窶冱 advice about father [respecting fathers]
He used to care a lot on giving service to his father except on Tuesday nights, when he would go to Sahlah Mosque. But afterward, he left going to the Mosque. And when I asked the reason, he answered, 窶露 went there for forty Tuesday nights. But last Tuesday, I didn窶冲 manage to go soon and I reached there before the evening. Yet, I went there alone and it became dark
Meeting Imﾄ［ Zamﾄ］ (mgehr) by Ba盧･r al-ﾊｿUlﾅｫm, in the Holy Sardab1
I was with that honorable man on a trip to Samarra. He had a chamber where he slept alone, and I had a chamber connected to his. I serviced him with care day and at night, people used to gather in his presence until late at night. One night, he sat down as usual and people gathered around him, but I saw that he seemed to be averse to staying in the gatherings and liked there to be deserted.
