There was a ruler in Ḥillah who they called him ‘Marjan Saghir’, and he was a NÄá¹£ibÄ«. [Once]They told him that AbÅ«-Rajeh always curses á¹¢aḥÄba.

So that wicked [ruler] ordered to bring him to his present. When he was taken there, the ruler ordered them to beat him. And they beat him so much that he was about to die. They beat him all over his body, even his face so hard that he lost his teeth.

I arranged to stay there to pray and request [ my wishes from Allah] that night. It was rainy and windy, so I asked the custodian, Abi Ja’far, to close the doors of the illuminating chamber.
