When Talut set forth with the armies, he said: “Allah will test you at the stream 鈥 (Holy Qur鈥檃n, Surah AL-BAQARA, verse249)
Imam al-B膩qir (pbuh) stated, “The number of people who remained faithful to [prophet] 峁乴奴t (pbuh), was three hundred and thirty.”
Imam 峁⒛乨iq (pbuh) stated,
鈥淎s God tested [prophet] Moses (pbuh) `s companions by a stream, Qa’em (mgehr)鈥檚 companions will be tested [by something] too.”
Do you still remember the event of Imam 峁⒛乨iq and the Khor膩s膩ni man?!
~ [At the end of their talk,]
The Imam (pbuh) stated,
鈥淗ow many completely obedient Sh墨士as do we have, who obey unconditionally and do not nag?鈥
The Khor膩s膩ni man answered, 鈥淭here is no completely obedient [among the people I know!]鈥
Yes, there is a big gap between claim and action.
