The Emergence certainly happens.

In Nahj al Balāgha, it reads:

Be aware!

Tomorrow, – the day which will definitely come and you do not have any knowledge of it_ the guardian and ruler [Imam Mahdī (mgehr)] will denounce [some of] the agents of the government for their actions, then punish them.

Th Earth will reveal its treasures for that honorable [Imam Mahdī (mgehr)].

Then, it will present the keys [By treasure, Imam (pbuh) referred to the minerals, and by the key` he referred to the codes to apply the treasure.]
