Some of His Excellency, SÄhib al-ZamÄn (mgehr)’s characteristics

His first privilege, is the light of its shadow and ghost in the world of darkness between the lights of the Imams (as).

As it was narrated in a group of Merajieh, etc., his light was like a shining star among the light of other [infallible] ImÄms (pbu th).

The Second is his honorable lineage; The Excellency has the whole honor of all his pure ancestors’ (pbu th). On his mother side, he is the offspring of Roman qizars. It goes back to The Excellency Shamoun al safa, the guardian of [prophet]Jesus (pbuh) that his lineage goes to many prophets and successors (pbu th), in turn.

The Third is about the day of his birth, when two angels took his Excellency to the Throne of God. Then, the Almighty God stated, ‘O’, welcome my servant! You will aid my religion, reflect my command, and guide my worshippers.

I swear, I verily take the blessings, give the blessings, and forgive the people, …; because of you.

The fourth is “Bayt al-Hamd[1]â€.  It has been narrated that Bayt al-Hamd is the house of Sahib al Amr [ImÄm ZamÄn (mgehr)]. There, there is a light which will be on, since the day he emerges by the sword in his hand, and the light will not be extinguished.

The fifth is, the whole middle title of the Messenger of God (pbuh&h) and His Excellency’s blessed name. It has been narrated in “ManÄghib†that, he stated, ‘Call me by my name, not by my title!’.

The sixth concerns the sanctity of His Majesty’s blessed name. [It is to be honored], as it was described.

The seventh is that, the prophetic mission and the ‘God’s Ḥujjat[2]’ will end up by his Excellency.

The Eighth is about his occultation; from the day of his birth, when he was delivered to the Holy Spirit [Gabriel]. Also, was trained in The world of Light and The Holy space. There, his Excellency has been safe from being polluted by filth and impurity, and the sins of humans and evils. Instead, he has been in the company with Angels and good spirits.

The ninth is not associating with the unbelievers, hypocrites, and the immoral because of fear, Taqīyah, or endurance. From his birthday until now, neither any oppressive has reached him yet, nor he has been accompanied by any unbelievers and hypocrites. Also he has kept away from their houses [areas, locations, …].

The tenth is not having pledged any allegiance of any tyrants in the neck of The ImÄm (mgehr). In I’lam al-Wara, [bi A’lam al-Huda, by Shaykh TabarsÄ«], it was narrated from by ImÄm Haá¹£an (pbuh) that he stated, ‘Each one of us, has a rebellious allegiance around him, except QÄ’im (mgehr). [He is the one,] whom ʿĪsÄ ibn Maryam RuhallÄh (Spirit of Allah) [prophet Jesus (pbuh)] will pray behind him.

The eleventh is having a mark on his back. It is like the mark “KhÄtim an-NabÄ«yÄ«n†“Seal of the Prophetsâ€[3], on the Holy Prophet [Muḥammad (pbuh&h)]’s blessed back. Perhaps, the one on His Excellency [ImÄm MahdÄ« (mgehr)] ‘s back refers to “Seal of the WalÄ«sâ€[4] of him.

The twelfth is allocating numerous titles to His Excellency, by The Almighty God; in some celestial books and the narrations about Mi’raj. There, God permitted people to call The Excellency, by one or more titles. But [God] didn’t permit them to call his honorable name!

The thirteenth is the advent of some extraordinary events, and also celestial and terrestrial signs for The Excellency’s Emergence. Well, they haven’t ever been existed for any Hujjat ’s birth or emergence.

2.      Ḥujjat means, proofs and reason. And God has granted two proofs for man; one is the inner prophet (pbuh) which is the very wisdom, and the other is real prophets (pbu th) as: The prophets, messengers and the imams (pbu th). Here, by the Hujjat we mean Imams (pbu th).

3- Among Muslīms, it is generally regarded to mean that prophet Muḥammad (pbuh&h) was the last of the prophets sent by God.

4- Among Shiites, it is regarded to Mean ImÄm Mahdi (mgehr) is the last of the Shia Infallible ImÄms.
