The reason why [Other infallible ImÄms (pbu th) haven’t been occulted] was that, the religion programs hadn’t been fully implemented yet. While QurʾÄn just presents the principles and laws of religion, its total realization needs to be specified.
To specify the religion, we have 65 thousand narrations available; from the time of ImÄm Ê¿AlÄ« (pbuh) to ImÄm AskarÄ« (pbuh).
Types of Looking Forward to the Emergence
There are two types of the emergence:
1-   Precipitous        2- Developing
- The followers believe, in order for ImÄm [ZamÄn (mgehr)] to emerge, the world needs to be full of cruelty.
- The followers believe that, the emergence develops gradually (like a fruit which gets ripe gradually).
Martyr Motahhari believed that, nature of the emergence is developing.
The narrations which express that ImÄm ZamÄn (mgehr) will emerge, when the world is full of cruelty and tyranny, mean that we ought to know the worth of our ImÄm (mgehr). Otherwise, the Major Occultation Era will be long and cruelty will fill the world too.
The worth of the faith in God, in the Major Occultation Era
JÄbir Juˈfi narrated from ImÄm Muḥammad BaqÄ«r (pbuh), that he stated:
Lucky the ones who in the Major Occultation Era, will be firm believers in us!
God calls them like this, ‘You are my true servants…! I send rain for all of my servants, and save them from calamity because of you. If not, I would make them to be doomed (KamÄl al- DÄ«n wa TamÄm al- Niˈmah, volume 1, page 309)
Our most important task is
considering the ImÄm (mgehr), in all dimensions of our lives
Whoever agrees with the present atmosphere [the degeneration of the societies in the world], suffers the greatest calamity! Also, a society which doesn’t aim at perfection and prosperity, has already died!!
