How to have the life style of the people who look forward to The Savior [ImÄm MahdÄ« (mgehr)]’s emergence

Most of the people believe in the effect of the soul of the body. But, they often neglect the effect of the body on the soul!

According to a basic principle of treatment (which has been confirmed by the verses in QurʾÄn and also AḥÄdÄ«th), our appearance and behaviors affect our inside/conscience; our faiths and beliefs. Therefore, their lack of coordination will lead to gradual weakness of our beliefs.

That is to say: Through behavior purification, the belief will be pure /perfect too.

(Based on the Surah, Rum, the Verse, 10):

In the long run evil in the extreme will be the End of those who do evil; for that they rejected the Signs of Allah, and held them up to ridicule.

Hence, our destiny depends on our characters. Our characters are shaped by our beliefs. And, our behaviors make our beliefs, encourages, or [even] weakens them.

The true concept of “The Emergenceâ€

ImÄm SajjÄd (pbuh) stated, ‘Whoever believes in the ImÄm [the savior (mgehr)] and looks forward to his emergence in the Minor Occultation Era [now], they are superior to all the humans in the history. [If they do truly look forward to].

In other Hadith, His Excellency called a person who look forward to the emergence “as thousand martyrsâ€.

Also about the concept of “The Emergenceâ€, the holy Prophet (pbuh&h) stated,

1-    “The best deeds are waiting for the expiration. [looking forward to the emergence]†(Ilal al—Shara’i, Volume 1, Page 4)

2-    The best JihÄd [struggle in the way of Allah] is waiting for relief. [looking forward to the emergence]†(Tuhaf al-‘Uqul, Page 37)

The prophet (pbuh&h) didn’t call every type of behavior “Looking forward the Emergenceâ€! But it must be JihÄdi. [It means through attempt]

Trying as much as you can

The main features of [JihÄdi behaviors]

  • Trying as much as you can
  • Having a supreme and idealistic goal
  • Devotion to God
  • Fighting against the enemies

recognizing the enemy is of the basics in the lifestyle of the people who look forward to The Savior.

Types of  JihÄd

  • great
  • The greatest
  • smaller

*JihÄd with oneself. [fight with one’s carnality]

*Military battle with the enemy.

*Cultural, economic, political struggle with the enemy.

Geat JihÄd is what is mostly reffered in Qurˈan, and what the enemies of  Mahdiism fight with.

Being faithful to the whole JihÄdi behaviors which are originating from the belief in the ImÄm of revelation “His Excellency Ḥujjat ibn al- Haá¹£an (mgehr)â€, and looking forward to his government in the Occultation Era [present time] that aims to pave the ways for ImÄm MahdÄ« (mgehr)’s government, are included in the life style of the people who look forward to The Savior’s emergence.

The domains of behaviors, in the life style of the people who look forward to The Savior’s emergence:

  1. The relation with themselves.
  2. The relation with God.
  3. The relation with other humans (God’s friends or enemies).
  4. The relation with non- humans (Nature, Jennies and angels).

Is this lifestyle as same as IslÄmic one?

Among seventy-three branches of IslÄm, we just agree with those who behave according to Ahl al- Bayt (pbu th)’s AḥÄdÄ«th and interpretations. Also, Ahl al- Bayt (pbu th) are the base of their lives. Yet, this is called “The believers’ lifestyleâ€, but not the life style of the people who look forward to The Savior’s emergence.

There are two types of the believers, mentioned in QurʾÄn: Mujahideen [JihÄd fighters] and QÄÊ¿edeen [the ones who feel weak to fight] (Surah Nissa, The Verse 95):

“…Unto all [in Faith] Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit [at home] by a special reward.â€

the life style of the people who look forward to The Savior’s emergence is as same as the believers’, Fighter’s [for Right], and Muslim’s who pave the way for ImÄm ZamÄn (mgehr)’s emergence.

The features of the Occultation Era:

  • There are bewilderment and confusion
  • Keeping contact with the ImÄm [MahdÄ«] (mgehr) isn’t optional.
  • The Right and The Wrong is intermingled.
  • There are disaster and coercion.
  • The apparent dominance of enemies.
